Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader


The Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin is free software that you install to read and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files within your browser. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader, you need to download and install it. It's free.

Download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader:

  1. Visit Adobe's website and download Acrobat Reader (this might take a long time if you have a slow modem).

  2. Disconnect from your Internet connection.

  3. Close all browsers.

  4. Double-click on the file you just downloaded (for example, ar40eng.exe).

The Adobe Acrobat Reader install process will begin. Follow the onscreen instructions until the installation is complete.
