Grade 12

List of 9 items.

  • August

    • Register for Sept. and Oct. ACT (if applicable)
  • September

    • Weekly group meetings on the college process resume
    • Senior College Night
    • Register for Oct. SAT I & II and Nov. SAT I & II (if applicable)
    • Check the school "College Board" and "Senior Board" for schedule of visits by college representatives
    • Individual and family conferences scheduled as needed
    • Request college material
    • Request teacher recommendations
  • October

    • Attend college representative sessions at Trinity
    • SAT/ACT test administration
    • Visit colleges
    • Confirm application procedures at those colleges that interest you
    • Register for Dec. SAT Reasoning or Subject Tests or ACT
    • Begin completion of applications
    • CSS Student Aid Profile available online and in counseling offices
  • November

    • SAT test administration
    • Complete college visits
    • File Early Action/Decision application if appropriate
  • December

    • SAT/ACT test administration
    • Register for January SAT I & II, if necessary
    • File college applications before appropriate deadlines
    • FAFSA available
  • January - March

    • Deadline for filing most applications
    • Financial aid forms must be submitted in January
    • Final date for SAT Reasoning and Subject Tests
    • Mid-year report submitted to colleges
    • Alumni/ae interviews take place
  • April

    • Decisions begin to arrive
    • Notify college counselor of all decisions
    • Decline in writing all offers of admission at colleges where you do not plan to enroll
  • May

    • Candidate Reply Date – May 1st – Final enrollment decision and deposit due
    • Notify college counselor of your final decision
    • Finish the year strongly
