Fellows Program at Trinity

Luis

Luis grew up in the South Bronx and comes to Trinity from The Catholic University of America, where he earned a BA in history and media and communication studies, including a certificate in video production and digital storytelling. In 2017, Luis worked as a fellow for the New Zealand Labour Party in Auckland, where he filmed campaign speeches for local Labour Party candidate Helen White, the current minister of health Andrew Little, and the current prime minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.
After graduating, he worked as an English language assistant at two religious schools in Barcelona and Madrid and taught at a charter school in Boston as a social studies fellow, where he found it difficult to hide his New York Yankees pride. Luis enjoys writing and has authored multiple young adult novels that he is in the process of publishing. He is currently pursuing an MA in education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and is excited to be a member of the Trinity community.
