In this trip to Argentina, students will be immersed in the Spanish language as they learn about the economic, political and environmental history of the country. Our itinerary will bring us to Buenos Aires, where students will visit culturally honored spaces including La Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca, Colón Theater, Palermo, Recoleta and Museo de la Memoria--which honors the victims of military dictatorship in the country. Students will also enjoy the hospitality of local families in homestays.  We will then move to San Antonio-La Pampa, the grassland region surrounding the capital city. We will visit a rural farm and learn about traditional agriculture from rural farm workers. In Iguazú, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, students will learn about the variety of ways in which the proximity to the falls impacts their livelihoods.
