This year’s French language immersion trip will take the students to Quebec City. For some years now, our partner Edu-Inter has run a well-regarded French Camp during spring break. It offers students a full French experience through a blend of lessons, one-on-one and larger social interactions, and homestay. The camp includes French classes in the morning and a selection of cultural activities in the afternoon. Students on this trip will have at least fifteen hours of French instruction, and will pledge to speak only French during hours outside of the classroom. The program’s home base is the François-Bourrin School, where Trinity students will mingle with Quebecois students during the breaks and at lunch. Homestay is at the heart of this immersion experience. Host families are located from 10 to 45 minutes from the school in safe residential areas and close to a bus station. They are 100% French speakers and they are carefully selected, visited and interviewed by Edu-Inter.

As this is a French language immersion trip, preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in a French class.
