The Learning Center provides additional instruction in critical reading, writing, and executive skills (organization, time management, planning for long-term assignments, etc.) necessary for academic success. The learning specialists use curriculum-based materials to work with students individually and in small groups. The learning specialists also act as liaisons with teachers, parents and outside tutors to support students in meeting academic expectations.

Grade 9: Full year, 2 periods per cycle; no credit
