Introducing the Green Lab
This spring, the US Service Council met with building services to discuss the school's environmental initiatives. Over the course of several meetings and the addition of a faculty member from each division, the Green Team emerged with a plan to pilot indoor gardening spaces as well as building an outdoor classroom.
US Service Council members petitioned the US Student Senate for the initial funds to buy the plants. This past weekend Green Team faculty and staff purchased plants, flowers and herbs. Yesterday the US Service Council members planted the first herbs and flowers! These are displayed on our small, indoor wall garden on the 3rd floor of the new building on your way to the turf.
