Volunteers of all ages are needed every Tuesday from 3:15-3:45 to package food for delivery and to bring it over to the DeHostos Community Center on 93rd and Amsterdam. Please click here to register.  This is a short but important volunteer opportunity. Last year, through BOUNTY, Trinity provided 3,000 meals to our neighbors in need. Please join us!

We also need parent volunteers to assist delivering meals to the Sondra Thomas House - our neighbor across 91st Street and part of New York City Housing Authority's subsidized housing program - every Friday from 9:30am to 10:00am. 10th grade Trinity students serve the meal but we welcome parent participation in greeting and assisting our guests. Please click here to register.

Thank you to the many members of the Trinity community who helped make our 44th annual Thanksgiving dinner such a special event! On Wednesday, November 27 we welcomed 250 guests from Goddard Senior Center, Wise Towers, DeHostos Apartments and Self Help Community Services with an incredible talent show, delicious meal, and goody bags stuffed with items donated from every division.

Throughout the year Trinity’s PA Service Team collects donated items in the Great Hall for a number of partners. Volunteers are needed for just 30 minutes during morning drop off to help with collection - a great way to connect with other parents and serve our neighbors! Please see Sunday Night Emails and Newsday emails for more information and to volunteer.

In January 2020, the Office of Public Service and the PA Service Team will host a Valentine’s Day card-making party in the Dining Room for our friends at the Scarlett Fund, which delivers notes of hope and love to pediatric patients and their families at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. We’ll have snacks and plenty of art supplies to help spread the love. This event is open to all students, K through 12. Lower School students must be accompanied by an adult.

The Office of Public Service

Inspired by Trinity School’s founding as a charity school and guided by our 5 Principles, the Office of Public Service supports curriculum-based service learning in every grade through our 15 Community Circle Partners. To learn more about each grade, please click on division topics.

We also offer after school service opportunities for Middle and Upper School students, and for our Lower School families. Many of our events are open to all faculty, staff, students and their families and we are grateful for and inspired by the broad participation from our community. Please review info n the left or division topics for more information and to register.
