    A Thought-Leading Program
Since the 2016 founding of the Office of Public Service, Trinity has created a thought-leading program engaging hundreds of students, K-12. Shifting traditional paradigms of community service and service learning, Trinity’s O.P.S. empowers students to connect rigorous academic study with meaningful social impact. As a grassroots social movement, our Community Circle Partnerships and community engagement has grown rapidly, and Trinity students learn invaluable leadership and life skills through their work in the world. The chart to the right represents the growth of our social movement.

Trinity's Food Donation Program

Like many schools, Trinity seeks to be a zero waste school, and through our work with FLIK Dining Services, we have robust recycling and composting programs.

In addition, Trinity’s innovative approach to reducing food waste includes our food donation program.

We donate meals weekly to the the community fridge at Frederick Douglass Houses on Wednesdays and to Sondra Thomas Apartments on Fridays. In fact, these two programs are grade-wide initiatives supported by our eleventh grade and tenth grade classes, respectively, allowing our students to not only reduce waste on our campus but to meet and serve our neighbors as well.
Located on the Upper West Side of New York City, Trinity School is a college preparatory, coeducational independent school for grades K-12. Since 1709, Trinity has provided a world-class education to its students with rigorous academics and outstanding programs in athletics, the arts, peer leadership, and global travel.
